RANVET BC2A AMINO ACID PASTE 55G

BC2A Paste is a blend of essential branched chain amino acids. Aids in the prevention of tying up & assists in recovery from exercise.

Branched chain amino acids are required for efficient function of muscle cells, and for lean muscle growth and for repair.

Each tube contains the following amino acids:

• L-Leucine
• L-isoleucine
• L-Valine
• L-Glutamine
• L-Carnitine

BC2A paste may:

• reduce lactic acid levels by up to 50%
• reduce heart rate during training by up to 15%
• spare the effects of associated trauma from exertion
• enhance skeletal muscle adaption to exercise training.

Dose & Administration:

1) Tying Up:

• For horses that are already tying-up: 88g orally asap.
• To assist recovery from strenuous work, 55g to 88g orally within 30 minutes after strenuous work.

2) Training:

• For horses with a known history of Tying-Up (or returning from lay-offs): 55g to 88g, 30 - 60 minutes pre-exertion & the same again within 30 mins post exertion.
